Introducing a young child to art can act as a pivotal role in his/her development. Art can assist in the development of a child’s creativity, imagination, cognitive skills, problem solving abilities, fine motor skills and more!

Children that are regularly active in a comprehensive art class are more likely to be elected into a class office, more likely to be in a math or science fair and more likely to win an award for writing

In addition, art also helps build self esteem as students take pride in the works of art they create. It assists in the development their problem-solving skills, especially when faced with three dimensional problems such as sculpting. Art helps

children to better their sensory awareness and improve their manual dexterity. This is because a child needs to observe something, try to recreate what he see’s in his mind’s eye, and try to match it with reality.
